The 3 goals you need to set in 2019

The 3 goals you need to set for 2019

Are you a new year, new goals type of person? If so, then you are in the right place as I am sharing the 3 essential goals you need to be setting in 2019.

1 – SET A FINANCIAL GOAL

Most people have the vague goal of making more money next year, but don’t actually quantify it. Your goals needs to be specific and money is an easy goal to make specific.

How much do you want to earn in 2019?

How will you achieve this goal? If you work then maybe you will need to ask for a promotion, get a new job or take on an additional job

If you are an entrepreneur maybe you will need to sell more of your current services/products or maybe you will need to create something new.

Also, I don’t want you to think just about what you earn, but also your savings or net-worth. Earning more money is great but you should also be concentrating on building your savings and net worth, and neither of those will improve without you making conscious decisions.

2 – SET A PROFESSIONAL GOAL

Achieving professional success is core to everything I do at PropelHer. I want every PropelHer reader or book club member to achieve great success, but success doesn’t happen by accident so you should be setting a clearly defined goal.

What will success in your profession look like next year? Will it be the results you achieve? Will it be winning awards? Will it be raising your profile? Will it be doing another qualification?

3- SET A LIFESTYLE GOAL

Life isn’t just about money and your profession. You need to be enjoying your life so set yourself some lifestyle goals. This may involve taking things off your bucket list and committing to doing them in 2019. Or it may be something as simple as committing to going to the gym 3 times a week or not working on Sundays. Think about setting goals that will bring you great joy so you are enjoying your life now rather than in the future.

That’s it! The 3 types of goals I believe you definitely should set in 2019 are: financial, professional and lifestyle.

I would love to know what goals you have set for 2019.
