TIP 1 – SET GOALS
If you want to have your best year yet you need to be clear about what your best year would look like. Does it mean getting a promotion? Travelling abroad every month? Earning 6-figures in your business? Buying a home? Take some time to really think about what your best year yet would look like and then set SMART goals for everything you envision. TIP 2 – CREATE A PLAN TO ACHIEVE YOUR GOALS
Setting goals are great but it is too easy to set goals and then do NOTHING! I don’t want that to happen to you. To make sure it doesn’t need to create a plan. In your plan, you should add as much detail into what you will do to achieve each goal. Create mini-goals or have clear milestones so you can keep track of progress. Make it super easy for you to start actively working towards achieving your goals.
TIP 3 – MAKE A VISION BOARD
Now in an ideal world to keep your goals top of mind I would recommend you write your goals down every day, but I know that might feel a bit daunting. An easier way of being daily reminded about the world you are trying to create is through a vision board. A vision board is a board that brings together a collection of images and / or words that represent your dream life or the vision you are trying to create.
TIP 4 – DEVELOP A HABIT OF READING REGULARLY
A smart woman knows she doesn’t stop learning the minute she leaves the education system. Now it is up to you to ensure you continue learning. Developing a habit of reading regularly is a great way to ensure you are always learning. Even by reading 10 pages a day you would work your way through an average personal development book every month.

TIP 5 – SURROUND YOURSELF WITH THE RIGHT PEOPLE
No woman is an island. The people around you have a direct impact on your life. You need to be surrounded by the right people, but that doesn’t mean they all have to be the same. You need people who will cheer you on, as well as people who will challenge you. Then you need industry individuals, passion pals and ambitions allies. TIP 6 – MAKE YOUR HEALTH A PRIORITY
Too often I see women who are trying to take on the world neglecting their health. They are working late into the night, eating junk food and missing gym sessions. You only get one body and in order for it to support you in the best way possible it needs to be in good shape. Stop thinking that looking after your health is an addition and make it a priority. That means exercise regularly, eat healthy, drink enough water and get enough sleep.
TIP 7 – DECIDE TO MAKE SOME DAY TODAY!
If you want to have your best year you have to decide to take action now. The truth is that most people are too often in a fantasy future world rather than the present. Only you can make sure you have your best year yet. You have to consciously decide that now is your time and make the most of every day!
