1. Practise gratitude
You can’t have negative energy and positive energy at the same time. As a result, practising gratitude is a great way to quickly raise your energy to a positive level. 2. Surround yourself with positive people
Surrounding yourself with positive people is one of the easiest ways to change your energy level and also become positive. Naturally, as humans, we have the urge to belong. When others are projecting positive energy, it is contagious. You’ll feel the need to match their energy level and before you know it you’ll have raised your energy to match theirs (as close as you can).
3. Eat consciously
The food we eat plays a major role in how we feel. If you don’t eat enough you feel hungry and irritable. If you eat too much, you’ll feel full and possibly lethargic. If you want to bring positive energy into your life through the food you eat you’ll need to be conscious about what you eat and how much you eat. The focus should be on eating that is nourishing your body and eating the right amount (not too little and not too much).
4. Listen to music that makes you feel great
One of the quickest ways to bring positive energy into your life is through music. Music has a way of being able to change your mood and energy in minutes and sometimes even within seconds. Music is a very personal thing and therefore you have to work out what type of music makes you feel great. You might love music with lyrics that move you or you might love music with a beat that gets you pumped up. You might like music that you can sing along to or you might like music that you can dance too. There is no right or wrong. The focus is purely on music that makes you quickly feel great and makes it virtually impossible for you to not feel positive.
5. Smile
When was the last time you smiled? It may feel odd to smile when you don’t feel particularly positive but smiling will help you to feel better. Also, smiling has an impact on those around you so if you are around people your smile will help raise their energy level and in turn, you’ll pick up on that.
6. Move your body
When you are negative you will often also feel sluggish. The last thing you might want to do is move your body, but moving your body is a great way to raise your energy level. When you do a physical activity your body releases endorphins. Endorphins are known as the “feel-good” chemicals for a reason. Moving your body will help more endorphins to be released and as a result, you’ll feel better.
7. Visualise being your best self
Another way of bringing positive energy into your life is by visualising. When you are visualising, you are moving your focus away from the present and your current energy level. Visualising being your best self is powerful because your best self will ultimately be a high-vibe positive version of you. However, instead of relying on other people’s positivity to influence your energy, you are using your imagination to create a vision of what you are like when you are positive. This adds a level of authenticity to the positive energy you are bringing into your life.
