How To Achieve More In Less Time

Do you want to achieve more in less time? Ready to be the super productive person you know you can be? Well, in this post, I am sharing 3 tips that will help you achieve more in less time.

Something that I get asked a lot is “how can I be more productive, more efficient or more effective” and essentially those people are all looking to achieve more in the time they have. Unfortunately, no one has the power to create more time so all you can do is use the time you have as wisely as possible.

This is a topic close to my heart. Balancing a full-time and PropelHer has always relied on me using my time as wisely as possible. However, recently I relaunched CharelleGriffith.com, where I will be offering marketing and business coaching marketing to Solopreneurs. When I decided to launch CharelleGriffith.com I knew if I was to manage all three things I would definitely need to ensure I was achieving as much as possible with every moment.

 

So here are my three tried and tested tips to achieve more in less time.

 

1) WORK OUT WHAT IS IMPORTANT

It is very easy to be busy with tasks such as answering emails, posting on social media, research etc. These are all tasks that can take up time but are they moving you forward? 

Look at your to-do list and ask yourself if I can only get 3 things done today, what 3 things are really going to make a difference? Highlight them and do those first!

2) FOCUS ON ONE THING

I know you think you are Wonderwoman and as a woman multi-tasking is what we do best, but multi-tasking is the enemy! Multi-tasking only really works when one of the things you are doing doesn’t need your attention. However, right now we are talking about doing great work that helps you to be super successful, so you need to concentrate and give whatever you are working on your full focus.

 

 

3) BATCH

If you want to achieve more in less time then batching is essential. Batching is where you do the same task over and over again within a specific amount of time. For me, this can be anything from creating and scheduling social media content, writing blog posts, responding to emails, filming videos – you get the idea. The reason why batching helps you to be as efficient as possible is because your brain isn’t switching between tasks. Also, when a task requires you to be in the “right mood”, like writing blog posts it is best to keep on going once you are in that mood rather than starting from scratch all over again. And batching is super useful when your task involves a certain piece of tech. No more flicking back and forth. Open the programme, do what you gotta do and then close the programme down.
