Do you struggle to stay focused on your goals? Do you set big goals, get all excited about them and then a few days later you forget all about them? Staying focused on your goals is essential if you want to achieve them so keep on reading to check out my top tips on how to stay focused on your goals.
1) WRITE THEM DOWN
One of the best habits I have added into my life in recent years is trying to write my goals down every day. Let’s be real I’m human so it doesn’t happen every day, but I write them down a lot. I try and do it first thing in the morning, as part of my morning routine. Writing them in the morning as part of my morning routine not only means it is part of a larger daily routine so I’m less likely to forget, but it also means I am reminded of my main goals first thing so it helps me to keep them in mind for the rest of the day.

2) CREATE MILESTONE OR MINI-GOALS
Hopefully, you have some big goals that might take months if not years to achieve (such as buying a house, getting a promotion or having x amount of savings). Whilst big goals are great (and I encourage you to have them) it is easy to lose focus on them because the end result is a long way away and you don’t feel like you are making progress. In this situation, you need to be creating milestones or mini-goals so that you are continually motivating yourself to move forward. Having milestones or mini-goals also means that you have the opportunity to celebrate your achievements more often.
3) BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE
When it comes to speeding up achieving a goal, accountability is amazing! Knowing that someone else in the world knows your goals and what you are meant to be doing is a great way to ensure that you stay focused on your goals and the actions you are meant to be taking to help achieve those goals.
